Helping My Friend

How did this page get started?

After a family tragedy, I watched as friends and family worked to support my brother who had just lost a child. One set up a fundraiser for him, another set up a work party at his house to do housecleaning and yard work, and others wanted to deliver meals. The display of love was fantastic, but organizing it all was challenging for friends helping our family.

Years later, I saw others go through challenging times, and I thought there should be a site that has all of those services on one page that is simple, easy to navigate, and free to use.

I am dedicated to providing this free resource to those who need to use it.

Though the site was initially designed to help people help others during a family tragedy, it can be used for many other purposes as well. Whether it is helping a friend after a loss, in the hospital, recovering from physical or mental illness, or organizing a sports fundraiser, I hope you find this site helpful.
I am dedicated to the upkeep and improvement of this website. If you think of a way we can improve it, please contact us at contact@helpingmyfriend.com, and put SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT at the top.

I look forward to helping you help your friends.
