Donation and Payment Transparency Statement

At HelpingMyFriend, we want you to know that every dollar of your donation will reach the intended recipient. We also want you to know why you incur additional charges beyond your donation. Every banking transaction service (we use PayPal) charges a fee to safely and securely transfer money. PayPal charges 3.49% + $0.49 per transaction. In addition to this, our website costs money to operate. To pay for these overhead costs, we charge a 5% fee for our services. That is why a person who donates $20 will be billed $22.22.
